Julley, I'm Lobzang Ishey!
Originally from the beautiful village of Rumbak in Ladakh, I’ve been hosting guests at Tarchok Homestay since the year 2000. I come from a traditional Ladakhi farming family and have always enjoyed welcoming travelers into our peaceful mountain home. Over the years, I’ve hosted trekkers, nature lovers, and cultural explorers from around the world—and every guest has become a part of our extended family.
I love cooking and take pride in preparing fresh, home-cooked Ladakhi meals made with ingredients from our farm. Whether you want to relax in nature, enjoy a hot cup of tea after a trek, or learn about Ladakhi life and food, I’m here to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
