Our Duplex Room is thoughtfully designed for families or small groups seeking extra space, warmth, and a deep cultural experience in the heart of Ladakh. Spread across two cozy levels, the room features double beds, warm bedding, extra woollen blankets, a traditional Bukhari or room heater, and hot water bottles for winter nights. With ample natural light and traditional wooden decor, the room offers a perfect balance of comfort and authenticity.
The attached bathroom is equipped with 24×7 running water, a geyser for hot water, western toilet, bucket and mug, mirror, and essential toiletries including soap, towel, and shampoo. For added convenience, the room also includes a wardrobe, table and chair, charging points, and dustbin.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast and dinner with home-cooked meals made from local ingredients — including traditional Ladakhi dishes such as Skyu, Chutagi, and Thukpa. Filtered or boiled drinking water is available at all times, and packed lunches can be arranged for treks or long travel days. Meals are served in-room or in a cozy common dining space.
For a truly memorable stay, guests can explore a range of cultural and local experiences — from apricot orchard visits and Ladakhi cooking sessions to handicraft weaving, guided day hikes, village walks, and meditation or prayer spaces. Bonfire arrangements are available on request, and we assist with permits for Pangong, Nubra, Tso Moriri, and Hanle.
